Ask and You Shall Receive

Back in October I posted life goals on my Tumblr.

It is as follows:

Goals
So I was inspired to put my goals on paper from a recent book I’ve started
reading that my cousin sent me, here they are!
1. Visit every MLB Baseball park
ØAmeriquest in Arlington
ØSafeco in Seattle
ØBusch in St. Louis
2. See the Northern Lights in Alaska
3. Live in Seattle
4. Work for the MLB
5. Visit Niagara Falls
6. Take part in an archaeological dig
7. Visit Egypt
8. Have a beagle named Briscoe
9. Marry a sugar daddy
10. See the Eiffel Tower at night
11. Own a Corvette
12. Have a log house in the mountains
13. Visit the Colosseum
14. Be a “professional driver on a closed course”
15. Meet Paul Walker :)
So it seems I have the desire to travel, and spend a lot of money. Perhaps
that’s why I put marry a sugar daddy on there so that I will have
financial backing for it all. Or maybe I’m just really superficial?

So we just booked our flight to London! I think I'm most excited about seeing Platform 9 3/4!! Oh and we're also taking the train to Paris, so I'll have the opportunity to knock off number 10! I'm sooooo ready for my vacay! I can't wait!

Vacay?

I feel like I keep harping on the whole need a job thing, but I've lost faith it's in my plan. I've been nothing but patient, I swear!
This recession is killing me, and evidently I have a crappy degree... but I wasn't informed of that during the time of going through the program and completing it.
So now that I've been stuck in this enormous rut, I need a vacation! I'm thinking somewhere warm and sunny (preferably a beach), so the plan thus far is SoCal! Thoughts anyone?

Time Marches On

Pardon my pun...the month of March is now upon us. This month commemorates the month upon which I was born. Normally I'm not concerned about notching another year on my life belt, but this year, this month, will mark my quarter of a century old notch. As I've been reminded it's simply a fact of life, but to me it's kind of a big deal!

Looking back on the kids I graduated from high school with, they have started their families, and if not kids then at least a husband/wife. Of the 38, yes I know a small graduating class, there are only 4 unmarried females left! I'm one of them. So for typical small town mentality, it should be said that she's not married because she's focusing on her career. ERRRR wrong again Bob!
She's simply happy being the independant female that she was raised to be!

The small town moms would say that she wasn't raised properly or else she'd be married off by now!
I say, I couldn't have asked for better parents! I'm thankful that I was raised to know that I had a choice, I don't have to fall into the "norm", and I'm not to be shipped off to college only to acquire my MRS!

So I guess....I'm going to become another year older this month, which means another year wiser right? This is why I shall continue to enjoy being the badass unmarried female that will be putting herself, her dreams, and possibly her career first once again!
